Denomination
SComm is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada (C&MA), a movement of churches committed to knowing Jesus and making Him known.
The C&MA’s distinctive emphasis is expressed through the Fourfold Gospel: Jesus Christ as our Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. The C&MA logo reflects this Christ-centred focus.
Beliefs
Our faith is rooted in the historic Christian faith. We affirm the Apostles’ Creed and the C&MA Statement of Faith.

History
SComm began in 1995 as the English ministry of Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church (SCAC). In 2009, we became an autonomous church while continuing our partnership with SCAC.
Our two churches remain close neighbours. We worship and serve as separate congregations, but our buildings are on the same street, separated only by a parking lot!
Staff & Leadership
SComm is served by a dedicated staff team:
Rev. Dr. Paul Lam — Senior Pastor
Jael Nowak — Children’s Ministry Director
Jeffrey Tsoi — Administrative Secretary
Our church is led by the Board of Elders and supported by dedicated ministry leaders and volunteers who serve our congregation throughout the year.
