Senior Pastor
Jael Nowak
Jael has faithfully served in church ministry for over 20 years, beginning in youth ministry where she specialized in supporting at-risk teens. Her early ministry focused on building meaningful bridges between the local church and the surrounding community through creative outreach initiatives.
Before joining the SCOMMAC team, Jael served with SIM Canada as a local missionary overseeing Church Engagement and Community Development. As her family transitioned to the west-end GTA, Jael sensed a growing call to support and equip families in discipleship and spiritual formation. Today, she brings that passion to SCOMMAC by investing in the next generation and partnering with parents in the spiritual formation of their children.
Jael also serves the broader church community as a board member with the Alliance Disability Network.
Her Heart for Ministry
Jael’s heart is to see families empowered to become the primary disciplers of their children. She is passionate about helping homes become places where faith is lived out naturally, intentionally, and joyfully. Alongside her family, she seeks creative and Spirit-led ways to nurture children in their relationship with Jesus and support parents in the journey of discipleship.
Fun Facts
Outside of ministry, Jael enjoys movies, horticulture, and collecting all things Sanrio. The quickest way to her heart is through claw machines, cats, and authentic Korean food.
